Civic Education.

Our voices really do matter. All Things Edunia makes civic engagement fun and empowering for the entire family. Through our partnerships, we are able to create educational spaces within the community that empower families to actively engage in elections and exercise their civic voice. We work with community-based organizations to create community classrooms where learning about education issues and policy is easily accessible and relevant. Edunia’s most recent efforts have been collaborating with the faith community and supporting church leaders as they strive to create a more social-justice conscious and civically engaged congregation.

  • Student Voices Contest

Our voice matters, and we want to show it. Most major movements start with young people. The #DidUVoteTho contest allows students to use their creativity to spread a word of accountability to the adults they rely on to speak for them. A social media campaign on different platforms encourage others to vote. We remind others that voice matters, but then ask the question, “Did you vote tho?”

  • Campaign

We can say our voice matters, but when we do not exercise our right to vote, it makes another statement. We allow powers to speak to the people. The #DidUVoteTho campaign was inspired by a group at the United MegaCare MIC workshop in response to hearing about the low voter turnout for midterm and local elections. We are making the statement and asking the question to encourage voting in upcoming elections. Get your t-shirt and join us.
